About the Designer

Alan Yip is an internationally renowned product designer. He was previously employed at Frog Design in California, USA, and Philips Design Headquarters in Eindhoven, Netherlands. In 1990, he founded Alan Yip Design Company. Over the years, he has designed thousands of products across various categories and holds dozens of international design and invention patents.

His international clients include Philips, One for All, Shure, Vidal Sassoon, Emerson, RCA, Grundig, Nintendo, Hitachi, Sansui, Akai, Orest, Tong Yang, Hyundai, Daewoo, Li-Ning, Snug, Mobis, DeRUCCI, M&G, International Instrument, LeBrush, Towngas, and Kingsun Electronics. Several of his industrial designs have sold over a million units.

Design Philosophy

Alan Yip has received numerous design awards and has been invited by governments including Germany, the Netherlands, the UK, Japan, South Korea, and China to exhibit his works. His designs are collected in renowned museums and publications worldwide.
