Young Classical Guitar Artist/ Associate Professor/ Master's Supervisor
Manni Wu is an associate professor and master's supervisor at the School of Music, Jiangsu Normal University. She holds a Doctor of Classical Guitar Performance from the Robert Schumann Hochschule in Düsseldorf, Germany. From 2011 to 2022, she won championships in several international guitar competitions, served as a judge in major competitions, and conducted master classes. Manni Wu has performed in China, Germany, Italy, Spain, Thailand and other countries, presenting over 40 solo concerts and collaborating with symphony orchestras. After returning to China in 2020, she has been a lecturer at the School of Music, Jiangsu Normal University, teaching undergraduate and graduate courses in classical guitar. She has also released solo albums such as "Memory Only" and "Bach on the Fingertips", and published several journal articles, including "Chinese Impressions on the 'Six Strings' - An Analysis of the Path of Classical Guitar Nationalization".
